Show-Time Dance Team
- Current team members can visit the Performance Team Page for information on their classes, performances, competition and team fees.
(Classes are offered for Kindergarten ages and up 2-3 times a week for 1 hour – 1 hour and 15 minutes each class time depending on age/level.)
The Show-Time Dancers are a Beginning – Intermediate Dance Team. We recommend this class for dancers with at least 1 year of dance experience for younger ages and 2-3 years of dance experience for the older age groups.
These dancers will receive proper dance instruction in both ballet & jazz while learning proper technique, precision, teamwork, responsibility, and performing skills. Dancers on this team are dedicated to improving themselves, their team, and preparing for future Jr. High and High School Teams. Attendance at Team placement day or placement by a staff member is required. Please contact us to set up an evaluation day for your student.
This team performs at the Jazz Game and 3 competitions in the spring time as well as our end of year recital. More information about the recital can be found on the “recital information” page of our website. We may also participate in other local performance.
Our teams are allot of fun! They allow students the opportunity to perform more than our recreational classes. Our competition attitude is very healthy. We concentrate on technique in a fun positive atmosphere, we want the kids to do their best, improve and have fun! Our focus in not on the awards ceremony but rather the performance and their improvement. The teams always do well because they are well trained.
Students on the teams excel quickly because they attend class often they are able to retain more as a result of attending class multiple time per week. Multiple Class and Family discounts do apply to team members.
All Team members are required to pay a $10.00 team placement fee.
